EDTA Chelation
Take a transformative step towards better health with our EDTA chelation therapy. This innovative treatment is designed to gently remove harmful heavy metals such as lead, mercury, aluminium, and arsenic from your body, supporting detoxification at the cellular level. By cleansing your systems of toxic build up, this therapy promotes improved circulation, enhances energy levels and restores overall balance.

Chelation therapy is a medical treatment used to remove heavy metals like lead, mercury, or arsenic from the body. It works by administering chelating agents—medications that bind to these metals—so they can be excreted through urine. It’s most used to treat metal poisoning but is sometimes explored for other conditions, like heart disease, though these uses are not widely supported by strong scientific evidence.
Heavy metal exposure can occur through many sources such as contaminated water, environmental pollutants, occupational hazards and even everyday household products like cosmetics and cookware.
Heavy metal toxicity can manifest in various symptoms, include gastrointestinal and kidney dysfunction, nervous system disorders, skin lesions, vascular damage, immune system dysfunction and even birth defects. Prolonged exposure to heavy metals can also increase the risk of certain cancers.
EDTA chelation therapy offers a targeted approach to detoxification, helping the body eliminate harmful heavy metals, reducing the risk of toxicity. It also helps reducing oxidative stress and inflammation, which is underlying cause in various chronic diseases.
Research shows that chelation therapy may improve blood flow and circulation, supporting heart health and potentially lowering the risk of cardiovascular issues.
Chelation therapy shows promising support in improving neurodegenerative conditions by reducing the toxic burden on the brain and support better memory, focus and mental clarity.
Chelation therapy has been explored for its potential to improve vascular health and reduce oxidative stress, which may indirectly benefit individuals with T2DM who are managing their condition through lifestyle changes
Step One
When you book in, your deposit covers the cost of the heavy metal testing kit ($240). This kit will take around a week to arrive at the clinic, and we’ll be in touch as soon as it’s ready.
Step Two
Once your kit has arrived, we’ll give you a call to lock in your infusion date. We recommend choosing a day where you can take it easy afterwards, as some people feel fatigued post-treatment.
Step Three
On the day, arrive well hydrated and after a meal. You’ll receive a 1000mg glutathione push to boost detox, followed by EDTA, 5000mg of Vitamin C, and 2500mg of Magnesium to support your body through the process.
Step Four
After your infusion, you’ll head home with a urine test kit. The sample needs to be taken exactly 3 hours post-infusion. Simply place it in the prepaid express envelope and drop it at any AUSPOST express box.
Step Five
We’ll contact you once your results are back—typically within 5–10 business days. From there, we’ll talk you through the findings and make a personalised plan based on what your body needs.
EDTA chelation therapy involves using ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) to bind and eliminate toxic heavy metals such as lead and mercury from the body. This method is primarily used to treat heavy metal poisoning and, in some cases, is explored for managing cardiovascular conditions. Administered intravenously under medical supervision, EDTA forms a stable complex with harmful metals, which is then excreted, usually through the kidneys. While EDTA is FDA-approved for lead poisoning, its application for heart disease is not universally accepted. However, research suggests that it may offer potential benefits for diabetic patients recovering from heart attacks, though further studies are required.

EDTA chelation is a medical detox treatment that uses a chelating agent to bind and remove heavy metals like lead, mercury, aluminium, and arsenic from the bloodstream. The metals are then eliminated through urine, helping reduce toxic load and support overall health.
This therapy is ideal for individuals with known heavy metal exposure, chronic fatigue, poor circulation, or neurological symptoms. It can also be beneficial for people managing conditions like cardiovascular disease or Type 2 diabetes, under proper medical guidance.
When administered by trained professionals in a clinical setting, EDTA chelation is generally considered safe. We follow strict protocols and include supportive nutrients like magnesium, glutathione, and vitamin C to minimise side effects and enhance effectiveness.
The number of treatments depends on your test results, symptoms, and health goals. After your initial heavy metal test, we create a personalised plan, which may include multiple sessions for optimal detox and recovery.
Yes, we offer mobile EDTA chelation IV therapy for clients in Melbourne who prefer treatment in the comfort of their own home. It’s a convenient, professional service delivered by our qualified infusion team.
